(LAMBTON, ON) – On Wednesday June 22nd, 2016, just after 4:00 p.m., members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in Watford, Ontario.
Members of the Lambton OPP Street Crime Unit executed a CDSA search warrant at a residence in the 5000 block of Nauvoo Road, Watford. As a result of the search warrant, a quantity of drugs and cash were located and seized which included,
16 Fentanyl Patches,
77 used/partial Fentanyl Patches,
15 grams of Cocaine,
5 Buprenorphine Patches,
$1650 in Canadian Currency.
Total estimated street value of drugs seized is estimated at $5500.
As a result, 49 year old Nancy Anne VINCENT of Watford Ontario and 53 year old Daniel Douglas SMITH of Watford, Ontario have both been charged with,
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 Counts)
Possession of a Schedule I Substance (3 Counts)
Both accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Monday July 27th, 2016.
