(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On June 20, 2016, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hamilton Road, east of Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.
Officers determined the male driver of the Honda car had been consuming alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and registered a pass. A standard field sobriety test (SFST) was then conducted. The driver was subsequently arrested.
As a result of the police investigation, 53-year-old Keith WAY, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol and drug), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on August 12, 2016.
