$160,000 Fraud – Carmen Lina LIO Arrested

(CALEDON, ON) – On the 10th day of March, 2015 an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint with regards to a possible Fraud. The victim in this matter reported noticing multiple outstanding balances with customer accounts. Over an extended period of time, the employee was responsible for depositing company cheques into her personal account. The victim sustained a loss of approximately $160,000.00

As a result of the investigation, Carmen Lina LIO, 53, of Caledon has been charged with Fraud Over $5,000.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on July 28, 2016 to answer to the charge.
