(TECUMSEH, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh responded to a two vehicle crash on July 11, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Malden Road between Essex County Road 8 and South Talbot Road in Tecumseh.
A northbound motorcycle was struck by a southbound tractor trailer.
The driver of the motorcycle, James CLARK, age 57 of Windsor was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Charges are pending.

FATAL CRASH CLOSES MALDEN ROAD
(TECUMSEH, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh along with Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Tecumseh Fire and Rescue is currently at the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a transport truck without trailer and a motorcycle.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Malden Road between South Talbot Road and Essex County Road 8 in Tecumseh.
The driver of the motorcycle was killed in the crash. The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
Malden Road between South Talbot Road and Essex County Road 8 will remain closed while the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) examine the scene. The road is expected to be closed for several hours.
The name of the deceased will not be released pending notification of next of kin.
