(GEORGIAN BAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 7, 2016 at 9:03 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a report of a single motor vehicle collision. Two motor vehicles had apparently been racing which resulted in one of the vehicle striking a dirt embankment on Honey Harbour Road in Georgian Bay Township.
The yellow Chevrolet Cobalt was located by police a short time later. As a result of the investigation the 20 year old driver Dakota DIETRICH from Severn Township has been charged with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
