(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 22-year-old female after police investigated an incident at a James Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, July 17, 2016 at approximately 12:10 a.m., Norfolk County officers, Emergency Response Team members (ERT) and Canine Services attended The Little Inn after a concerned citizen contacted police.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a female became involved in a verbal altercation with a male and brandished a firearm.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 22-year-old Skye Rebecca LAVIGNE of Norfolk County, Ontario with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, pointing a firearm, five (5) counts of fail to comply with probation order, fail to comply with conditions of undertaking, two (2) counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
