Serious Motor Vehicle Collision Sends One to Hospital

On the 19 July 2016 at approximately 4:13 p.m., members of the Killaloe OPP detachment responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway # 60, and Queen Street, Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. Police determined that the vehicles had collided on Highway #60 causing injuries to the drivers. A red Lincoln and a grey Chevrolet were towed from the scene with extensive damages to both vehicles. One female was taken to the hospital by Renfrew County Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. One child received minor injuries.

Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards Fire Department were also on scene to assist with the collision. Charged is 61 yr. old Stanislawa MODLINSKA of Toronto with Careless Driving section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act. The defendant was issued a provincial offence act notice. The Killaloe OPP would like to thank community residents and witnesses who remained at the collision to assist the injured parties.
