Stolen Vehicle Destroyed By Fire In Grey County

(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On July 21, 2016 at approximately 2:15 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an abandoned vehicle on fire at a field entrance off of Alexandria Street in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

Investigation revealed that the recovered vehicle, a 2005 silver Nissan Altima, had been reported stolen to Barrie Police Service on July 20, 2016.

The Inter-Township Fire Department was at the scene. The fire, which destroyed the vehicle, had been intentionally set.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist in this investigation to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
