(LAKESHORE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore received a call regarding a vehicle that was in the ditch at the intersection of Myers Road and Essex County Road 42 in Lakeshore on July 22, 2016 at approximately 8:50 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene and determined that the driver was travelling south on Myers Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Essex County
Road 42. He lost control, struck a Bell Canada communication box and came to rest in the ditch.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene. He sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Aaron NEVEU, age 28 of Lakeshore was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content. He will appear in a Windsor court on August 17, 2016 to answer to the charges.
