(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate thefts of motor vehicles. Residents are reminded to always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors, and pocket the key. Never leave your car keys in plain view or in an easily accessible area. Always park in a well-lit area. If you have a garage, use it and lock the door, as well as your vehicle.
On July 23, 2016, a black Audi sport utility vehicle (SUV), and a silver Dodge van, were reported stolen from a laneway on Napperton Drive, in Adelaide Metcalfe, Ontario. The thefts occurred overnight into the early morning hours of July 23, 2016.
On July 23, 2016, a green Chevrolet pickup truck was reported stolen from a residential property on King Street, in Southwest Middlesex, Ontario. The theft occurred overnight between July 22, 2016, and July 23, 2016.
On July 24, 2016, a white GMC van was reported stolen from a residential driveway on Old Airport Road, in Southwest Middlesex, Ontario. The theft occurred in the late evening of July 23, 2016.
On July 25, 2016, an orange Kubota tractor was reported stolen from a commercial property on Cromarty Drive, in Thames, Centre, Ontario. The theft occurred in the early morning hours of July 25, 2016.
Inform your local police department, or call the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) TIPS Line at 1-877-IBC-TIPS, if you see vehicles or vehicle-related activities that look suspicious.
