(PLYMPTON- WYOMING, ON)- On August 1, 2016 at approximately 12:30 a.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the 402 Highway, west bound lanes at Uttoxeter Road to investigate a single motor vehicle collision involving a transport truck/trailer.
As a result of the investigation, the 31 year old male driver from Ajax, Ontario was charged with careless driving. The driver suffered minor injuries. The 402 was closed for approximately two hours while the transport truck was removed from the median.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. The OPP are asking that if anyone witnessed this collision to please contact them at 519-882-1011.
