(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a residence in Caledonia in Haldimand County at approximately 5:45 p.m. on 1 August 2016 in response to physical dispute.
OPP investigators attended along with Haldimand County Emergency Services attended the Morrison Drive residence in Caledonia and found that two men had been injured as a result of an altercation in the residence.
The victims in the incident were a 52-year-old man from Haldimand County who suffered serious none life threatening injuries and a 42-year-old man from Hamilton who suffered minor injuries.
During the incident damage was also done to property at the residence.
Haldimand County OPP have arrested and charged 48-year-old Deborah PATTERSON of Hamilton with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
Aggravated Assault x 2
Assault x 2
Mischief to Property under $5000
She will appear in the Haldimand County Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charges.
