(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On July 31, 2016, at approximately 11:27 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 6 at Moto Park Rd., in the Township of Chatsworth resulting in the arrest of the driver who was found to be impaired by drug. A male passenger, who provided verbal identification to police, was given a ride to his residence in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Further investigation revealed that the passenger had provided false identification in an effort to avoid arrest.
Jordan Zedekiah FLEISHER, age 32, of the Municipality of Grey Highlands, was arrested and charged with Personation With Intent to Avoid Arrest, Fail to Comply With Recognizance and Fail to Comply with Probation.
The accused was held for a bail hearing on August 2, 2016 in Owen Sound. He remains in custody pending a video bail scheduled for August 8, 2016.
