(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Last evening, August 7, 2016 at approximately 7:15pm emergency services personnel attended a two vehicle crash in the intersection at Simcoe Street and Glenarm Road in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
The road was closed for several hours in the area to facilitate an investigation by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including a Technical Collision Investigator (TCI).
The two vehicles were occupied by five persons – a passenger was airlifted from the scene. The remaining occupants were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
