(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On August 13, 2016 at approximately 8:03 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred in the parking lot of a variety store on Concession Street East in Tillsonburg. .
Information received that the vehicle drove into the parking lot on Concession Street east and struck a parked car. The male driver exited his vehicle and entered the store and upon returning to leave reversed into the same parked car.
As a result of investigation, the 48-year-old male, Richard CASWELL of Tillsonburg was charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Driving While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle
Driving with More than 80 milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on August 30, 2016.
