(Napanee, ON)- On Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 1:46 a.m. officers with the Loyalist detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on County Road 4 in Loyalist Township.
Upon police arrival the driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Charged with impaired driving and over 80 mgs is 24 year-old Darcy McCULLOUGH of Kingston.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on September 23, 2016.
Approximately one hour later Napanee OPP officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Highway 401 westbound in Loyalist Township. Information provided was that a pick-up truck was being driven erratically all over the road with inconsistent speeds.
Police stopped the truck just east of the Odessa exit and arrested the male driver for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Charged with impaired driving and refusing a breath test is 36 year-old Benjamin EBERLE of Stone Mills Township.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on September 13, 2016.
