On August 24th, 2016 at approximately 9:00pm, OPP Officers were on Vinette Street in the City of Peterborough when they made a routine traffic stop. Subsequent investigation revealed the licence plate attached to the vehicle was stolen and 2 additional provincial offences.
Charged is: Joseph SLADE, age – 70 years of Peterborough
Section 354(1)(a) Criminal Code – Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.00
Section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act – Drive Motor Vehicle While Under Suspension
Section 2(1)(a) Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act – Operate Motor Vehicle – No Insurance
Mr. Slade is schedule to appear at Peterborough Provincial Court on September 24th, 2016
