(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment investigated a sudden death that occurred at a property under construction at a Haldimand Highway 54, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 30, 2016 at approximately 2:24 p.m., Haldimand County OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Paramedics responded to Haldimand Highway 54 for an unresponsive male on the property. Resuscitation efforts at the scene were unsuccessful.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour attended and continue to investigate this incident.
The investigation, thus far, has determined that the death of the 63-year-old male was not suspicious.
The identity of the deceased cannot be released at this time.
