(MUSKOKA LAKES TWP, ON) -The Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a car fire on Brackenrig Road, Muskoka Lakes Twp.
On August 29, 2016 at approximately 9:00 pm near 1116 Brackenrig Road, in the Township of Muskoka Lakes a vehicle crashed into the ditch and caught on fire. Bracebridge OPP officers arrived shortly after the crash and arrested the female driver for impaired driving.
Bracebridge OPP would like to identify the witnesses who stopped at the scene as well as the individual who stopped at the Port Carling Paramedics Station prior to this incident to report an impaired driver. They are asked to call Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
The 23-year-old female driver Jacklyn FOSS of Muskoka Lakes Twp has been charged with
1) CC 253(1)(a) Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol)
2) CC 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
She will attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on September 27, 2016 to answer to her charges.
