(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. A driver was charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence. The collision occurred at Highway 6 near Concession 6 Walpole in Jarvis, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Friday August 26, 2016 at approximately 4:12 p.m., OPP responded to the intersection of Highway 6 and Concession 6 Walpole for a two vehicle collision.
OPP investigation has determined that a green Dodge Caravan Pontiac was travelling northbound on Highway 6 and collided with a black Mercedes SUV that was also travelling northbound on Highway 6.
OPP has charged 65-year-old Thomas HEIDT of Simcoe, Ontario with Careless Driving under The Highway Traffic Act.
