(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On August 20, 2016 at approximately 11:56 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residence on Victoria Street, Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate, after receiving reports of a disturbance as a result of several people being involved in an altercation outside the residence.
After an on-going investigation, on August 28, 2016, Grey County OPP arrested and charged a 22-year old Dundalk man in connection to the disturbance on August 20th.
Damien Bernard GALLAND was charged with five counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, breach of recognizance, causing a disturbance, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He was remanded into custody following a bail hearing on August 28th. He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on September 1, 2016.
