(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Central Drug Enforcement Unit and Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) with the assistance of the OPP Canine Unit executed a warrant at a residence in Collingwood this morning.
The warrant was executed at a residence on Hurontario Street in Collingwood which led to the seizure of cocaine and cannabis marihuana as well as brass knuckles which is a prohibited weapon. Officers also arrested a male located in the residence.
Charged is 31 year-old Taylor YORK of Collingwood, he is facing charges of possession of cannabis marihuana, possession of cocaine, unauthorized possession of a weapon as well as 4 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to a prohibition order. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on October 25 2016.
