(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On September 4, 2016, at approximately 5:03 a.m., a suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Ilderton Road, near Willow Ridge Road.
A Toyota van was parked on the side of the road, and a male in the driver’s seat appeared to be sleeping.
Officers arrived and determined the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. He was arrested and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, 31-year-old Mohammed MUKHLIF, from Kitchener, Ontario, has been charged with care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on October 5, 2016.
