(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 58-year-old female with drinking and driving offences following an investigation into a motor vehicle collision that occurred at a Haldimand Highway 56, Canfield, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Saturday September 3, 2016, at approximately 7:50 p.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services, and Haldimand County Paramedics responded to Haldimand Highway 56 for a single vehicle collision.
OPP investigated, and while speaking with the female driver, signs of impairment by alcohol were detected. OPP arrested the female at the scene.
OPP has charged 58-year-old Deborah JACKSON of Oakville, Ontario with impaired driving, and driving over the legal limit.
She is to appear in Provincial Court in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
