(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Mechanic Street West, Waterford, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, September 1, 2016 at approximately 1:28 p.m., police received a report of a theft.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Thursday, September 1, 2016 between 12:00 a.m., and 1:00 a.m., unknowns attended the address and proceeded to enter the residence which in currently under construction. Once inside, unknowns removed a quantity of window and doors that were to be installed in the home.
A vehicle was seen leaving the area and was described an older green coloured pick-up truck that contained several windows in the rear box.
The theft is estimated at approximately $13,000 dollars.
