Scott VANBEEK – Drunk Driving

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 52-year-old male with drinking and driving offences following an investigation into a traffic complaint that occurred at an Erie Avenue North, Fisherville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Saturday September 10 2016, at approximately 5:35 p.m., OPP responded to the area of Erie Avenue North for a traffic complaint that was reported by a concerned citizen.

OPP located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the male driver, the officer noticed signs of impairment by alcohol and arrested the driver.

OPP has charged 52-year-old Scott VANBEEK of Selkirk, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
