(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On September 12, 2016 at approximately 8:42 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a male for theft – shoplifting from the Deals Surplus store on Hwy. 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs after an ongoing investigation.
On September 8th at approximately 3:33 p.m. the suspect left the store with concealed merchandise he had failed to pay for. With the assistance of store security video, the suspect was identified.
68-year old Wayne RELLINGER of the Township of Georgian Bluffs was charged with theft under $5000 – shoplifting. He is scheduled to appear in Court in Owen Sound on October 6, 2016.
