Woman Escapes Potential Rapist That Tried Dragging Her Into Shrubbery – Suspect Description Released

Location: HICKORY ST W and SPRUCE ST, WATERLOO ON Canada

On Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 4:30 a.m., a 21-year-old female was walking in the area of Hickory Street West and Spruce Street in the city of Waterloo. An unknown male approached the victim from behind and attempted to drag her into a shrubbery area of a nearby apartment building.

The female was able to break free and the male fled on foot up Spruce Street towards Columbia Street West. The male is described as: brown skin, in his 30s, approximately 61, average build, bald or shaved short hair, scruffy beard and no accent. He was wearing dark clothing.
