(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Highway 115 yesterday shortly before 9:00am.
The suspended male driver gave a false name in hopes the officer didn’t learn of his licence status. Through simple computer checks the officer quickly learned the driver’s true identity. Anthony GOODRICH (age 46) of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:
Obstruct police
Driving while suspended
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on November 03, 2016.
