Stormont Dundas Press Releases

(North Glengarry) – On September 22, 2016 at approximately 10:10am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male who had exposed himself in public. Further information revealed other similar incidents in the past. The accused was also in contravention of conditions imposed from previous incidents.

Justin LEBRUN (28) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Indecent Acts (3 counts)

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (4 counts)

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

UTTER THREATS

(South Glengarry) – On September 22, 2016 at approximately 4:27pm, Highway Safety Division (HSD) officers intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. The lone male driver became aggressive with officers upon his arrest and verbally threatened them. Officers also seized a quantity of suspected marihuana and a knife in the vehicle. While in custody at the detachment, the accused caused damaged inside the police cell.

Jimmy ARIAS (29) of Montreal, Quebec is charged with;

– Utter Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm

– Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

– Possession of a Controlled Substance

– Mischief Under $5000

– Obstruct Peace Officer

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
