(Cavan Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Highway 115 near Airport Road Saturday morning shortly before 1:30am.
The vehicle was driving in the westbound lanes when it lost control and rolled onto its roof in the centre grass median. The male operator of a vehicle was found to have been drinking. After being treated by paramedics Tyler SKELTON (age 28) of Marmora, ON was arrested and charged with:
Impaired Driving
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood
G1 driver unaccompanied by a qualified driver
Novice driver with Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) above zero
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, ON October 27, 2016.
