(SUDBURY, ON)- On September 27, 2016, at approximately 10:20 a.m., members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar enforcement and initiated a traffic stop on Highway 17, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was under suspension.
J.G. Marc LAFRENIERE, 51 years of age, from St-Charles, was charged with the following:
Driving while under suspension, contrary to 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
Operate motor vehicle without insurance, contrary to section 2(1)(a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on October 31, 2016.
