(BANCROFT, ON) – In the late evening of September 4th 2016, officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene of a family dispute in Faraday Township.
Upon their arrival, officers learned that an ongoing argument over the property and persons attempting to film an altercation led to the assault taking place.
Marina WESTBROOK of Ottawa is charged with one count of assault. The accused was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 18th of October 2016.
