(NORTH BAY, ON) – The North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) under the direction of Detective Inspector Mark Zulinski of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), is investigating found human remains in a remote area of Bonfield Township following a call received on October 9, 2016.
At this time, members of the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Emergency Response Team (ERT), North Bay OPP Crime Unit and the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) are assisting with this ongoing investigation.
The OPP will continue to carry out a thorough and professional investigation into this discovery and further information will be provided only as it becomes available.
