(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On October 10, 2016 at approximately 8:48 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a grey Nissan travelling southbound in the northbound lanes of the Hanlon Expressway in the City of Guelph. Vehicles travelling northbound were reported to be swerving out of the way in order to avoid collisions.
The Altima proceeded southbound where collided with a Ford Taurus when it attempted to turn onto College Avenue from the Hanlon Expressway.
66-year-old Margaret HALL of Guelph has been charged with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is scheduled to attend Guelph Provincial court on November 29, 2016 to answer to the charge.
