(GUELPH, ON) – On October 11, 2016 at approximately 12:15 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road, Guelph. A 2008 Mazda was observed travelling at approximately 133 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
19-year-old Alexandros BOUZALAS of Halton Hills has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on December 7, 2016.
