(MATTAWA, ON) – Members of the Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment are investigating a theft and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspect(s). Between the evenings of October 19 and October 24, 2016, unknown person(s) attended the railway tracks near McConnell Street, Mattawa, Ontario, and removed items from three different railway machines.
Stolen items include:
Two 12 volt batteries
Electrical meter
Channel lock
Grease gun
Red tool box
Hand tools
Sledge hammer
Black and Decker cordless drill
Makita 3/8” impact driver
Mastercraft tap and die set
Specialty parts for railways
Several LED lights
Ontario Valley Railway communication radio
The estimated value of the property stolen is $10,000.00.
