(HASTINGS, ON) –On October 20, 2016 at 12:02am an officer from the Northumberland detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a green Subaru Forester for an equipment violation on Front Street West in Hastings, Ontario.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, a large duffel bag with a quantity of suspected cannabis marihuana was seized. The driver, Mitchell BELL age 18 of Hastings, Ontario was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams.
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on January 4, 2017.
