(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On November 6th, 2016, at approximately 12:55am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a female in a motor vehicle in the downtown area of Trenton. At the time of the stop the licence plates that were attached to the motor vehicle were not registered to that motor vehicle.
During the investigation an officer noted that the female’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol) – CC 253(1)(a
Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood – CC 253(1)(b)
Use plate not authorized for vehicle HTA – 12(1)(d)
Three Counts of Breaching a Court Order
The 32 year old female was held for a bail hearing on November 7th, 2016, at The Ontario Court of Justice15 Bridge Street West, Belleville.
