(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) – On November 5, 2016 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) conducted an Aggressive Driving Initiative on Highway 3 in Essex County. As a result, 35 charges were laid, including 2 drivers charged for driving in excess of 50 kilometers per hour above the posted limit (Stunt Driving) and 3 Driving While Under Suspension charges in addition to a number of other violations of the Highway Traffic Act. Several vehicles were towed from the area due to the accompanying licence suspensions.
