(PICTON, ON) – On the 4th of November 2016 just before midnight, officers from the Prince Edward OPP initiated a traffic stop on Main Street Picton. The male driver exhibited signs of alcohol consumption and was subjected to a roadside test which he failed.
Further breath testing was conducted at the OPP detachment which confirmed the driver’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.
William Robert TURNER age 59 yrs of Picton was charged with Impaired Operation and Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol in his blood. His vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and his drivers licence has been suspended for 90 days.
TURNER was later released with a court date of the 23rd of November to answer to the charges.
