(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On November 14, 2016 at 1:41 p.m., Members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police were on patrol in Parry Sound when a yellow school bus was being operated. Upon closer observation, an officer observed a licence plate offence. A traffic stop was conducted.
As a result of the investigation,
Jeffrey OICKLE, 59 years of age from Parry Sound, was charged with;
Bus Not Used to Transport Children, Painted Chrome Yellow, contrary to section 175(3) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
Use Plate Not Authorized For Vehicle, contrary to section 12(1)(d) of the HTA
Operate Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, contrary to section 2(1)(a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on December 6, 2016 to answer to his charges.
