(CITY OF KINGSTON, ON) – On November 20, 2016 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Frontenac Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 15 near Sutherland Drive in the City of Kingston.
A white pick-up truck was travelling southbound on Highway 15 when the truck lost control and spun, crossing the center line and collided with a northbound minivan.
The minivan had 6 occupants in the vehicle including 4 children ages 4 to 15. The family sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital by ambulance.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the white pick-up truck 41-year-old male, Steven MURRAY of Kingston Ontario was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with Driving with More than 80 milligrams of Alcohol in Blood.
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on December 8, 2016.
