Malcolm HAMILTON DUNAWA – Impaired Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On December 3, 2016, at approximately 3:16 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a possible impaired driver travelling eastbound on Hamilton Road.

Officers located the motor vehicle, a black Kia car, on Hamilton Road, and conducted a traffic stop near Thames Crescent. It was determined that the 26-year-old male had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.

As a result of the police investigation, Malcolm HAMILTON DUNAWA, from Toronto, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3) alcohol/blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on January 17, 2017.
