(TINY TOWNSHIP) – An officer from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) impounded a motor vehicle and charged the female driver with several traffic violations.
On December 9, 2016 at 1:55 p.m. an officer stopped a motor vehicle on Highway 93 in Waverley, Tiny Township because the female driver was observed using a cellular device. Further investigation revealed that the female was also a suspended driver.
The driver, Lisa Marie BRADLEY (age 31) of Brampton, ON has been charged with:
Adult Drive Motor Vehicle on a Highway While Using Hand-held Wireless Communication Device contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Adult Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
Adult Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Adult Drive Motor Vehicle, No Currently Validated Permit contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 19, 2017 in Penetanguishene, ON.
