(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a male with impaired driving.
On Monday, December 12, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m, police received a complaint of a vehicle in the ditch on Valley Drive, Kenora. Police were also advised that the driver was possibly impaired.
Police attended the scene and were advised the driver had left by foot. The driver was located a few minutes later in the general area. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and he was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, Dennis LARSON, age 65 from Kenora has been charged with Driving while Ability Impaired and Driving a Motor Vehicle with more than .80 mg of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Kenora Court on January 12, 2017 to answer to the charges.
