On November 28, 2014 at 8:40 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Starwood Drive after an alarm was activated in a model home. Police located a smashed window in a nearby home that was in the process of being built. Canine was utilized to search the area and found three males. Investigation determined that these were the responsible parties and they were arrested.
Two 15-year-old Guelph males and a 16-year-old Guelph male have been charged with mischief under $5,000, attempt break and enter and possession of stolen property. The one 15-year-old is also charged with breach probation.
