The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a youth for breaching his Probation Order early this morning.
On October 30, 2013, the youth entered into a Probation Order with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to abide by a curfew of 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.
On January 27, 2014 around 12:30 a.m. an officer on general patrol in Blenheim observed the male youth running on Hall Street. The officer identified the youth and learned that he was disobeying his curfew condition.
The 17-year-old Blenheim youth was charged with failing to comply. He was transported to his residence and released to his parents.
