On the 09th of October 2013 at approximately 11:00 am a 16 year old female approached another 16 year old female outside a restaurant in Blenheim during the school lunch hour. The female suspect allegedly assaulted the female victim by slapping a can of pop out of the victim’s hand. As the victim continued to walk away the female suspect then ran up to the victim and allegedly punched her in the side of the head. Chatham-Kent Police were notified and conducted an investigation. Subsequently, a warrant was issued for assault for a 16 year old Blenheim youth.
On the 21st of October, 2013 at approximately 12:00 pm Police located the 16 year old female and arrested her on the outstanding warrant. The youth was released on conditions pending a future court date.
