On November 6, 2016 at 11 p.m. a young female was walking in the area of Waterloo Street in Kitchener when she was approached by an unknown man. The man sexually assaulted the female and then fled the area. The female was not physically injured as a result of the assault. The suspect is described as a white man, about six-feet-tall with a medium build. Waterloo Regional Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to call 519-653-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Police also want to remind people to be vigilant of their personal safety, aware of their surroundings and to report any similar incidents.
